The 18-hole Cabin Course opened in 2007. The trio of architects, Von Hagge, Smelek and Baril created a unique golf experience to compliment the sister course. As beautiful and exciting as the Tower, the Cabin Course presents fresh opportunities to fine tune your game. Featuring more elevation changes, this is a classic nine holes out and nine holes back to the Clubhouse course. The “Cabin” restaurant and snack shop is located after the ninth hole for a quick bite at the turn and a casual lunch or dinner with friends.
Torreon owners and guests have 36-holes of breathtaking mountain golf to test their mettle.
Torreon golf courses are open for play April through November each year and closed for the months of December through March.
Hole 9 – Par 3 (237 yards)
The ninth hole on the Cabin Course is a par 3 measuring 237 yards from the back tee. The hole features a penalizing wash that runs from the front of the tee box down the left side of the hole. The perfect shot is a high draw that avoids the sand bunker and the wash.
Hole 12 – Par 3 (162 yards)
The twelfth hole on the Cabin Course is a deceptive par 3 that measures only 162 yards. The green is framed by water and fronted by a small pot bunker. Take one less club on this downhill par 3 to avoid the water behind the green.
